CURSE YOU FOR NOT POSTING THE RULES! I can't believe you would avert to the stupid ICS Forums! The pact, by the way, is official: 4.0 is the final Valhalla major update. Any bad posts will be deleted and teen angst is no longer an excuse.

As for your question: yes, Ryan Blackfire can be used for all of the stories. RPG posts should only be your stories, because those are worth more player points than the rest of the forum. Any illegal posts will result in a loss of 10 player points from now on.

Sorry, but there was nowhere else to put it. You hadn't made the OOC forum yet, so I didn't have much choice. But another question that I thought I asked (maybe I didn't, though):

For The Stone, are we picking up where we left off? Or starting off fresh?

Excuse me? I cannot have two competitors. The balance of powers will become unstable unless Jmill were to revive Zagreb....

Chaos would ensue, one superpower would fail almost immediately (I assume it would be Zagreb), a treaty would be formed between Valhalla and ValhallaX2, they would work to encourage the destruction of ICS, and ValhallaX2 would be unused after a short period of time.

Valhalla is the dominant superpower, and its only worthy foe should be ICS.

Actually, if Jmill did revitalize Zagreb, I would go on. And of course I would remain loyal to Iron City Stories.

Thank you for the JK. I was about to do something drastic. BTW, the new world I'm laying down for The Stone is gonna kinda be the not-really-sorta-kinda-opposite of the old, post-apocalyptic one. Life will pretty much go on as usual. I'll wait til tomorrow, and if no one posts something for it, I'll do it then. Oh crap, I gotta change my char info for Book I, I guess. I'm not sure about the Apokalyptus RPG. It seemed like a good concept, but not for a text RPG. In the Stone, we have the ability to travel around and be cool. In Apokalyptus, we're limited to writing about races and dying if we lose. What does everyone else think? Should we shut down Apokalyptus?

Wow. This is kinda the same stuff over and over. To relieve the monotony, I think I might go ahead and post something. What the Hell, I'll try and remain active if only to keep The Stone alive. I kinda consider it partly my creation, and to let it die would be like smothering a baby with a towel. Wow, that was sick. I have NO IDEA where that came from. Sorry. But seriously, I'll post something right now. I swear. Unless I get distracted by another post or something.

Okay, right now its not letting me copy and paste into the posting box, cuz it logged me out while I was typing. I saved it to a word document, and I'll try later. Sorry I couldn't get it to work. Its kinda funny. I pasted it into the OOC text box and it worked fine. But when I pasted it in the story, it didn't work. Do you think maybe I could post it in here and you could move it to The Stone? Or any other suggestions?

Try one more time and tell me what happens. Do what my PM says.

I finally got it posted. I had to post it in two pieces, but its all in the same post. Read it if you want. Its pretty much the same as last time, with a few changes in minor details.

And to the The Adepts stuff:
Uhhhhh.......I don't know. I'm NOT gonna run it by Uncanny, seeing as he would just get all pissed again. I assume the three of us know his connection to me, right? Do NOT say it here for fear of other outsiders gaining this information. Just say yes or no. Anyways, maybe I could release a "Trial version" on here: a dumbed-down, simpler version. From what everyone was saying, the way I did it on ICS was WAY too structured with WAY too many rules. This would mean pretty much no rules, instead maybe some general guidelines, and just humans as a race to choose. What do you guys say? I'm not limiting it because this is Valhalla and not ICS, but because it was way too hard to understand last time and I want it to be enjoyed, not complained about.

I like the post, ramen, but I have one small problem: the date on your post is pretty far ahead of the most recent date on mine. If you did that purposely, that's fine, as I can easily work my storyline around it. If you hadn't realized it, you don't have to change it.

I realized it, but I wasn't sure how we would work those two around/into each other. The intro that you posted at the restart of the forum said that the story officially started in 2086, but your character hadn't gotten that far in his life yet. It's not a major deal for me to go back and change the date, if that's what you want. I don't mind. Really, the reason I started it in 2085 last time was because I was ripping off Watchmen for a joke.

@Cyberdalek: Are you interested in any stories, Adepts or otherwise? I'd be interested to see how you write in a story...

Got it. Here's my proposal. (NOTE: This will seem more simplified to ICS members who took a look at my original rules. Otherwise, it might seem like a lot stayed the same. Also, I will almost definitely quit this when a new HQ for ICS is established. Use this for your enjoyment if you want; I'm using it as a test run. Parenthesized text is red to stand out.)

-----Pretty much, there is a fantasy world with humans as the only sentient race. Most humans are just regular, but some can use magic. These magic-users, called Adepts, have their magical abilities manifest in one of two ways. Adepts are born as either sorcerers (nine domains) or polymorphs (animal forms). Polymorphs have a major animal/monster form and can acquire eight minor forms later on (Note: there aren't only nine forms to choose from, but a character can only have nine out of any animal or monster they can think of). Sorcerers choose to study one of these domains: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Shock, Light, Mental, Form, and Destruction (clarifications on these domains' powers will be posted later). Characters can have whatever weapons, gear, and armor they want with two exceptions: 1. Simple colonial guns are available to Mundanes (non-magic people) and not Adepts, and 2. Adepts cannot wear heavy armor like plate mail or dragonscale mail; Mundanes can. I am not sure as to a goal for the game. I wasn't too hot on the super-weapon/corporation thing for the original, so if someone has an idea, speak up. These are the basics; more will come later.

Okaaaaaaaay...looks like Jack might not be on here for a while. Anyways, I suppose I could come up with a few possible general ideas, and we can vote on those. Actually, how about this? I propose a few ideas, and then anyone else can do the same for a period of a few days. Then we set up a poll to choose which one we like best. That sound good to everyone?
